They will do tricks , play truth or dare
They'll say just about anything, they don't mean to scare
Comedy and many an inappropriate joke
Sometimes they can be magicians, complete with fake smoke
They like to sing, sometimes even dance
They can get so into their routines, they seem in a trance
When we see them on the train, we grow uncomfortable, sometimes even laugh
Shaking our heads, thinking how far one can go for a single sandwich half
All this they do , for a little food to eat
When you see these downtrodden, remember this before you look at your feet
